8 Months!

We missed the actual day on Sunday since we were gone, so we did it yesterday.  It was St. Patrick's Day so she was rocking her green!  She was also starting to get sick so she was also rocking green boogers, boo.  She only wanted to take the sticker off and eat it but I still got a couple cute shots.  Our smiley sweetie is 8 months old!  I think her growing has slowed but she round and chubby in all the right places and so fun to squeeze and cuddle.  She has started scooting and between that and rolling she can get wherever she wants to go.  She is so close to crawling.  She is finally good at sitting up for a long time.  She is still waking up usually once in the night, sometimes twice and naps 2-3 times a day with one nap being a long one and the others being about 40 minutes.  She is eating baby food for lunch and dinner and does ok, but doesn't seem to love it yet... maybe she's holding out for real food.  She has her very first cold, green boogers and all, but doesn't seem to phased besides being really congested. We all love this little girl so, so much and all of us want to always say hi, talk to her, and hold her.  Her nicknames include: K Mae, K, Kayla Mayla, Kater Tot, Kaler Maler, and Master Kalooli (her Jedi name, that's right she has a Jedi name... not every 8 month old can say that!). 

Likes:

- Smiling, laughing, talking, making spitting noises, scooting, rolling, and sitting.

- Getting toys out of Abby's play kitchen.

- Laughing at her brother especially.

-Tickles and kisses on her cheeks.

-Getting ready for baths and having everyone check out her cute booty.  

-Eating puffs, her favorite!

-Drinking water out of a sippy cup.

-Being outside.

Dislikes:

-Going to sleep.

-Being in the car.

-Eating baby food neatly.

-Having her nose cleaned, she hates that!

-Not a huge fan of church.

Notice her shirt?  It's her Sprite dress she wore as a newborn, now it makes a nice shirt.  So cute and seems like just yesterday that she was Baby Sprite in my belly.  Oh we love her.
