One bit of good news (hopefully!) is that we've postponed putting the house up for sale. Just as we were going to list the house with our realtor, we got word from our bank that we're getting a "trial" loan modification for 3 months. (Can I just say that banks are ridiculous! The second they realize they're not getting money from us, is when they actually pay attention to us, not the whole 8 months I've been on the phone with them trying to get this figured out!) It cuts our mortgage payment in half for that time while they review our financial info to see if we qualify for something a little more permanent. This at least offers some hope of staying in our house, and if Steve could just find a job here, we'd be set... we'll see what happens.
Here are some random pics of P. He's so much fun right now and getting into everything. He gets pretty mad when we don't let him into the bedrooms or bathrooms, or into cabinets. Oh, and he's quite the climber. This kid has no fear!!
This is at my parents house a few weeks ago. Preston had a whole yard with toys to explore and the only thing he wanted was the broom he found. He loves brooms, mops, and swiffer sweepers. Our joke is that he's going to be a janitor when he grows up, but he'll be the best janitor!!
Playing with his cousins Ellie and Benjamin. Notice how tight his grip on the broom is, even while playing with the firetruck.
His first time playing on a McDonald's play place. He was cautious at first, but then loved to go in and out over and over.
This is cousin Blake during the same weekend, he didn't get to play as much as the other kids. So cute and big at 3 months!
Preston got a package of hand me downs from Tyson with some Valentine's Day treats for us. He had fun "opening" the package and when it got real quiet we looked over to find that he had chewed through the wrapper of a Dum-Dum, and was enjoying what he stumbled upon.

Good news about your house! We've been having similar issues with the banks trying to refinance. We're in the "too bad there's nothing you can do category". It's really annoying.
Preston is so big. I love how mischievous he is! :)
Yup, the banks wait until the last moment... so frustrating.
Good luck to Steve... we're praying for you guys!
