We blessed Kaley Mae on August 31, 2014. We were lucky to have John, Elaine, Angie, and Tyson here as well as Bev Wilker, Rodney and Carrie Chandler, Lewis and Susan Chandler with their kids Nicole, Hailey and Hannah, Jeff and Christie Chandler, and Katie and Brady James. We missed having my family here but we were happy that they had already gotten to meet Kaley and spend so much time with us.
Little Miss Kaley looked adorable in her blessing dress... we decided to just use the same dress and head band as Abby, but had to splurge on the adorable booties! Our little girl had a pretty fussy weekend so we were very nervous how she would do in church and we were anticipating some crying during her blessing. I managed to get her to sleep just in time and she didn't let out a peep during her blessing and even slept the rest of sacrament meeting. Steve gave her a sweet blessing and I really felt the spirit.

Of course it was a rainy, windy, chilly day (I should've guessed!) but then we remembered that it rained for Preston's blessing and was cloudy and chilly when Abby was blessed. I was hoping for nice weather so we could sit outside for our lunch but no such luck. It at least stopped raining so we could take some pictures outside before heading back to our house for lunch. We had chicken salad and pulled pork sandwiches and lots of yummy salads and fruit and chocolate cake for dessert! It was a great day with family! ...needless to say we were all EXHAUSTED by the end of the day! (oh, forgot to mention that the night before Kaley was awake and unhappy between 3am-5am, talk about tired!)
