The end of August brought back to school time! We had the kids' back to school bbq where we got to meet their teachers. Abby was so excited for school to get started. She had a last minute switch of who her teacher was going to be but she ended up in Mrs. Barrett's class, a young cute teacher. Preston on the other hand dreaded school starting again the entire summer. He knew that his 2nd grade teacher was bumping up to the 3rd grade and he desperately wanted to be in her class again. Along with that he desperately wanted to be in the same class with his best friend Declan. Well we found out he was going to be in Mrs. Butterworth's class (not Mrs. Virgin's) and he wasn't with Declan. He was so disappointed and upset when I had to tell him. Poor guy. So he was not exited about the back to school night.
The first day! Preston was actually excited for his first day and to see his friends again. Abby was a little nervous to be going all day now, and I was too!
A week later Kaley got to have her first day! She started her first year at preschool with Miss Jenny, the same preschool Preston and Abby went to for their first years also. She was so dang excited and felt like such a big kid to be able to go to school too. She was so cute and had a great time! She loves school!
