We had a really fun day yesterday! We headed to Apple Annie's Orchard in Wilcox, AZ for their peach festival. It's a really cute place with lots and lots of yummy food. We enjoyed some yummy burgers, beans, home-made peach ice cream, and peach pie. I was so tempted to buy so much more yummy things, but I restrained myself. We were able to pick a few peaches and pears and we're excited to enjoy those. (We weren't like some people who came away with buckets and buckets of peaches, we're just not cool enough to can them or make jam or anything like that!) It was really fun but it was way too hot!! However, we're super excited to go back in the fall because the weather will be nicer and they have a pumpkin patch!
After getting all sweaty and dusty, we headed to one of the community pools. We found a really cool one that is open for an extended season and isn't too far from us. It had a really neat toddler area that was perfect for Preston to crawl around in the water and get splashed. It was very refreshing and the water felt great. Poor Preston was wiped after all the fun!

I miss pools on every corner. Now we get churches on every corner!
We love that place and go every year. We went last weekend and decided on to bring Alissa with us since it was so hot. Preston's not old enough to whine the entire time about the heat. Wait until next year :)
I wish we had made it out there while we lived there, it looks like so much fun!
