We Got Our Miracle...

(Sorry this is a little long, but I've been waiting to write this post for awhile now, so just indulge me!)

As many of you know Steve has been looking for a new job for quite some time. We are grateful that he has been employed this whole time, but this has been a very long and difficult trial for our little family. So many opportunities have seemed to slip through our fingers and so many times we got our hopes up just in time for things to not work out. We got frustrated, upset, and down on so many occasions and it was easy to watch things "just work out" or "fall into place" for those around us and find ourselves envious or jealous. After all of this we can finally say that we are having things fall into place for us and we are having our miracle. We feel so humbled and blessed to say that.

Here's the story: Ever since Steve left Golf N' Stuff for his current job, he's discovered that he's missed that industry and really does have a passion for family entertainment centers. Golf N' Stuff was no longer an option so he kept his eye on the other facility like it in Tucson called Funtasticks. The company that owns it, also owns about 25 other parks including amusement parks and water parks. Steve wanted to be apart of this company but there were never any job postings for it. He finally felt impressed to send his letter of interest and resume to the CEO of the company and to the HR department. We assumed that it would immediately end up in the trash, but to our GREAT surprise he got an email two weeks later wanting to set up an interview. He had two phone interviews, one in person, and one conference call with all the higher-ups (all of which went awesome, he did so great!). Today he received the official offer to be the general manager at Funtasticks. He is so excited, and scared, because it's a big position with a lot of responsibility. This is the perfect opportunity for him and I know he will do great!!

This whole trial and new job have done so much to strengthen our testimonies and we really have learned so much. It has been such a trial of our faith and patience and now more than ever we can testify of our Heavenly Father's plan for us and that his timeline is perfect. All those times that we felt lost and that we had no guidance, only to find out now it was just because we had to wait for the perfect opportunity to come along. We are just shocked and feel so blessed that Steve following the simple impression to submit his resume has led to this new job, an opportunity that just happens to be in Tucson and is just right for Steve. There really aren't enough words to express the love and gratitude I feel for our Heavenly Father for how truly blessed we are. We know there will be other trials in our lives, but we know we will be able to look back on this experience and remember how Heavenly Father blessed us and took care of us.

We have been waiting for this moment for a long time, it still seems too good to be true. We're trying to let it sink in and celebrate a little, but we're also anxious for the changes ahead! I guess all we can say it... Hello Funtasticks!
