Airplanes!!

Saturday evening we headed to the Pima Air & Space Museum. Even though we've (mostly Steve) lived here for a long time, we've never been so we thought it was about time, especially since it's only 5 or 10 minutes from our house. They do special evening hours one Saturday a month in the summer, which is nice since half of it is outdoors and the other half is in large warm hangers. It was really nice to be there around sunset and made for a nice evening. They have 4 large hangers of all sorts of airplanes, helicopters, and exhibits as well as many, many different kinds of airplanes on display outside. We loved it! It was so neat to see all these airplanes up close and learn of their history. Preston did great in his stroller and his eyes kept darting from one plane to another.

Towards the end we let Preston run free and this kid had so much fun! He just ran all around pointing to all the planes and saying "Ah-pwhy" (the same thing he says for "up high" but we knew he was talking about the planes). It was so cute! This place is definitely worth a repeat in the future!
