First Snow...

We've been wondering when it would come... the first snow!  Preston was thrilled that we got snow and immediately asked if it's Christmas.  I realized that there was a flaw in me telling him that Christmas is in the winter time with the snow... he now expects it to be Christmas at the first snowfall, in October.  Haha, we had some explaining to do.  He has since declared that he wants it to be wintertime forever... where has our AZ boy gone?!?  He went outside as soon as I could get his winter gear on him and he had a blast.  Later in the morning, we all got bundled up for the snow and Abby got to play in the snow for the first time, since last year she couldn't walk yet.  She started crying the second I put her winter coat on and was not thrilled with wearing a hat and gloves but seemed to have fun once outside.  We lasted for about 20-25 minutes before little hands got cold and we headed back in.  Preston got upset when the snow started to melt, but I was able to guarantee there will be much, much more!

Thankfully the snow has melted and it's supposed to warm up next week which is great with all the Halloween festivities we have coming up, but we know this isn't the last time our yard will look like this!
