First T-ball game...

Preston had his first t-ball game yesterday!  We were so glad that he was excited and wanting to happily participate.  This is the perfect level for him because it is the youngest team and everyone is new and nervous and there is no pressure.  He did a great job hitting the ball and running the bases.  He got to be in the "pitcher" position and catcher and was actually paying attention and getting and throwing the ball, which was a lot more than some of the kids like the boy who was throwing dirt when the kids on our team were running the bases.  It was just entertaining to watch these cute little kids run around and attempt to play.  We were proud parents though and are fully aware that this was just the first of many, many kid activities we'll be attending.
Team name: Green Beans  (now doesn't that sound tough?!)
Iona is a small suburb northeast of I.F. and we decided to have him play for them because their youngest age group is Pre-k as apposed to Idaho Falls and Ammon which start at the kindergarten level.
He was easy to pick out because he wore his D-backs hat!

He even turned his hat backwards by himself.
