We headed down there Thursday after Steve got off work. It was a smooth drive and the kids were good and we got to our favorite hotel. Friday we headed to Thanksgiving Point, where we actually went 2 years ago. We started with the children's gardens which the kids loved. It was so fun to see Abby get in on the action. She loves the freedom of being able to roam and be a part of things.
Check out me and my baby girl: now and then.

This was at the end and we were all exhausted. Preston couldn't walk anymore so we squeezed him into the stroller. And with no nap, Abby's headed was literally bobbing as she was trying to fall asleep. Doesn't she look happy here?
That night we grabbed some dinner (we made a point to eat at places we don't have here like Chipotle and Paradise Bakery) and then went for a swim at the hotel, which I think Preston was the most excited about.
Saturday after sleeping in a little (7:40 for Abby!), some breakfast and packing up we headed to The Living Planet aquarium. It wasn't our favorite but the kids seemed to like it and it was fun to see penguins and otters.
We grabbed lunch and ate it in a random park and then drove to Hill Air Force Base to go to the Aerospace Museum. Too bad we didn't know it closed at 4:30 so getting there at about 3:55 was not so great, but walking around and seeing the planes for a little bit was far better than trying to explain to Preston why we couldn't. So it worked ok.

It was an amazing little trip. We were exhausted but we had a lot of fun. I love memories like this, just doing fun things with our little family, sure do love them.
