Steve: Spent the first half of the year continuing to work at Fantastic Sams Hair Salon doing all of the operation/management/marketing. Steve's family moved to Nebraska at the end of July (we really miss having them only an hour away!) and with that they sold the salons in July. Steve had been working for Wells Fargo as a part time teller since last December and once we were done with the salons he bumped up to full time. That will change come January when he will start a new job as the Marketing Manager for Txtwire, a local company that offers text messaging services to businesses. It will be an exciting change and a step in the right direction for him. So for now we'll be staying in Idaho Falls but we are leaving our options open for change in the future. Steve just got called to be the Elder's Quorum President. He's also an amazing husband and father!
Amy: Most of my time seems spent keeping our kiddos alive and trying to stay sane at the same time. I love being a stay at home mom and focusing so much on them. My big accomplishment of the year was running a half marathon in July! It was a great experience and still can't believe I actually did it. Steve and I were both teaching the 14-17 year olds in Sunday School but now I'll continue to do that on my own, a calling I really enjoy. In my little bit of spare time I enjoy sewing and craft projects.
Preston: Turned 5 in November and is loving going to preschool 3 times a week. He is our active, energetic boy that really is non-stop but he can be such a sweetheart and so funny. He's also the sweetest big brother to Abby. Preston did great during swim lessons in the summer and played indoor soccer for the first time. He loves all things Batman, legos, spaceships, and all other super heroes.
Abby: Turned 2 in April and is seeming bigger and older everyday! She is our cutie and we can't imagine our family without her. Her language skills have taken off and it is so fun to hear her chat and pretend. Abby has her two year old moments but thankfully they don't last too long. She just got a toddler bed and next up is potty training. She loves to sing and make up songs. She loves all things pink, butterflies, and cooking in Mommy's kitchen.
We have so much to be grateful for this holiday season and feel very blessed. A big thank you to all of our friends and family that always offer there continued love and support. We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
