Winter fun, so far...

We get very bored in the winter time.  It's hard to keep coming up with things to do inside and miss being able to just go to different parks like in the summer (which also happens to be free unlike winter activities!).  Here's a little bit of what we do to keep ourselves busy...
Moon sand (flour and baby oil). They loved this stuff even though it is pretty messy!
Make cookies and help Mommy like the beaters!
Make snow ice cream.  I had never heard of this so had to give it a try.  It just adds milk, sugar, and vanilla to snow.  Fun project but wasn't my new favorite treat.  Abby loved it since she's the snow eating queen!
Go play on the giant snow mountain at the church parking lot.  The sun came out one afternoon and the wind wasn't too horrible so we decided to go for it.  Preston was in heaven!  Abby had fun climbing too but she would quickly get cold and me and her would warm up in the van.  Preston even tried out his new sled from Christmas on it.  We were there for nearly 2 hours and had to finally leave because it was starting to get dark.

I was very impressed with her climbing skills and how brave she was.  This thing was huge and tall!
