Omaha zoo!

Saturday while in Nebraska the weather was awesome (for the end of November) so we loaded up and headed to Omaha to go to the zoo.  Our zoo is pretty small so we were excited to go to a big one.  This zoo was amazing!!  Most of the exhibits are inside so it is open year round.  We loved it and it was such a nice day.  It had everything: an aquarium, an indoor jungle, indoor desert, butterfly exhibit, giraffes, lions, tigers, bears, monkeys, gorillas, seals, a whole swamp exhibit, a bat exhibit, and so much more.  We were so impressed and so glad we went.
The jungle was probably my favorite.  It was huge and hot and humid.  There was an upper and lower level with streams, ponds, waterfalls, monkeys, and bats just hanging out.  It was so cool!

Apparently we need to live in a jungle because this little girl should have been starving but fell asleep instead.

This was awesome, the gorilla was just hanging out by the window so you could be right next to him.  I went to another window to take this picture and the gorilla turned my way like he was posing for the camera.
I was worried how Kaley would do with a long day in her car seat and stroller (not her favorite things) and she did awesome!!

The Sonoran Desert... felt so odd seeing an exhibit on where we used to live and what is so normal to us.  It even felt hot and dry in there.
