Life...

I can't believe it's almost the middle of February already.  Let's just say that 2015 has not been very nice to us so far.  The past 5 or so weeks has been one of the most (if not the most!) stressful times for us.  There has been a lot of waiting and uncertainty and it's just no fun.  We have a few different options in front of us (wish that meant we had a few different job offers, but unfortunately no) which most require a lot of change, moving far away, and lots of stress.  We're not sure what the best path for us is right now and that is stressful.  Being a grown up and making big grown up decisions is HARD sometimes.

At the same time I am loving our little family.  Even though the circumstances aren't good, we love having Steve at home so much.  The kids love him so much and we get to have so much quality family time.  Here's a bit of the fun we've been up to...
Preston looks grumpy in this picture but he was actually cuddling and relaxing with Kaley and loving it.  Preston and Abby still can't get enough of their baby sister and we have to tell them multiple times a day to get out of her face.  They always ask to hold her, even if it's just for a few minutes.  They love to talk to her and give her toys and keep us updated on what she is doing.  I love how much they love her.

Trying to keep her contained so she wouldn't mess up the train tracks.

So sweet.

Lego table in the basement.  He likes for me to take pictures of his toys and things.
Carrots!
Preston doing his homework, Abby doing her "homework" (a work book that she likes to do while Preston does his work, she doesn't do it all right since it's too advanced for her, but she likes to pretend and do her best), and Kaley watching.
This past Friday it was sunny and 60 degrees outside!  Absolutely crazy for February!!  So we had a little backyard time.  It was actually quite windy so we were only outside for about a half and hour but it was still nice.
Getting messy with Oobleck.  These kiddos love any project that's hands on and messy!
