My mom was in Bountiful, Utah visiting her parents for Mother's Day for a week so the kids and I decided to make the 3 hour drive on Monday to spend the day with her. We left about 7am and got there about 10:30... the older kids did great in the car but Kaley does not like the car and cried a lot! We hung out at Grandpa Petersen's house and then got some lunch and went to a park and thank goodness it was such a nice day! We were there for two and half hours and the kids had a blast. Then we went to the store where Grandma let the kids pick a toy. We got to hang out and play before having some pizza for dinner and heading home. It was a great day and we were all so glad to see my mom, especially the kids. It was a long day and we didn't get home until 10pm but it was definitely worth it!
