The bad: almost having to scrap the whole trip because of car trouble on the way there, spending lots of time and money to get the car fixed on Saturday, not being able to go the temple because of it, and my dad having to be re-admitted to the hospital for continuing kidney stone problems (no fun!).
The good: spending lots of time with my mom, my brother, and his wife, Preston going swimming for the first time, an awesome Sunday afternoon nap, a BBQ, some games, and lots of mint brownies and ice cream.
We got Preston this pool for $5 from Target. He was so cute in it and seemed to really like it!

Heck yes for great deals for Target! That pool is adorable… as is Preston!! Car trouble is never fun. And my heart goes out to your dad! They say that kidney stone pain is equivalent to labor. After having both now, I’m not sure which is worse. I think labor still wins by a little, but kidney stones are definitely up there!! And a baby is much more exciting than gravel!
Yeah for the kiddy pool! I'm glad you were able to salvage your weekend.
