Since we had the party in the morning, Preston had a birthday donut complete with frosting and sprinkles. He didn't know what to do with it and ended up just poking and smashing it. I think he took just a few bites before dropping it on the floor, silly kid!
He had lots of fun opening presents, I should say he had fun with the tissue paper and gift bags which seemed to be his favorite part.
Preston got a couple stuffed monkeys from his Grandma Elaine and Papa John that have velcro hands and feet. We stuck one around his chest and belly and he left it there until we took it off about an hour later. It was so funny, he looked like he was just walking around with his buddy.

Sounds like he had fun. I'm so sad we couldn't make it! Is Preston wearing 12 months right now?
