Day Trip...

Last weekend we headed to Pocatello to celebrate Steve's mom's birthday. We had a great dinner and enjoyed the evening together. The little boys, Preston and Ty, got to sleep in the camping trailer with Papa. They were just a little excited and Preston was begging to put his pj's on so they could go to bed. I finally got a picture text at 11:30pm that they had finally fallen asleep, just too much excitement! Steve and I got to sneak away and go to the movies after the kids went to bed. I think we've seen only one movie together in the past year.


Saturday we went on a little day trip to Shoshone Falls by Twin Falls. We are trying to go out and enjoy the weather and Idaho while the weather is good. It was a pretty day to see the "Niagra Falls of the West" as it's called.




We then went to a little lake that is right next to it. It was so pretty with grass to sit on, a playground, and a sectioned off area for the kids with a sandy beach. Preston and Steve had so much fun playing while Abby and I hung out.





We had a fun day but stayed too late and were exhausted on the way home. We were reminded that our sweet baby girl HATES the car. She cried on and off the whole way there and back. Not so fun for the rest of us in the car! This baby girl better get used to it cause we're not going to stop going places!
