Christmas Time!

As Preston learned this year, the holidays are as follows: Halloween, go to Arizona, Thanksgiving, Preston's birthday, and Christmas.  So we've finally made it to Christmas time!  We've had fun decorating the house, watching Christmas movies and enjoying this time of year.  Love this magical time of year!
Felt Christmas tree for the kids.  It was my effort to have Abby not play  with our tree.  She broke 3 ornaments and all the rest are higher than 3 feet, which makes our tree look pretty sad.
Preston was really excited to get all of the decorations out and help me!
Can you see our newest tradition??  That's Jingle, our Elf on the Shelf.  He was a gift from Steve's parents and I think it's such a fun tradition.  He came with a book explaining that this elf was sent by Santa to keep an eye on the kids and then he flies back to the north pole every night to report to Santa. He then comes back to a new place every morning.  Definitely a fun new tradition that Preston loves and brings a little more Christmas magic.

Preston new pillowcase that Jingle brought from the north pole one morning (aka. that I made for him.) Cute, right?! I wanted to make one and found an tutorial and was so surprised how easy it was! Love how it turned out and look forward to making one for Abby next year.
