Catching up...

Life at home has been pretty busy, but we've still been trying to enjoy our summer and do some fun things!  We celebrated Father's Day, had a visit from my dad and grandpa, had a visit from Steve's parents, summer fun and the 4th of July.  

Steve's Father's Day present.  A D-Backs shirt with Wilker 5 for our 5 kiddos!  He was pretty excited!  He actually didn't get much of a Father's Day since we had just gotten home from the hospital that week, but thankfully he was a trooper!

We are planning on blessing the babies the first weekend of August so my dad will be coming for that, but he wanted to come for a weekend when the twins were brand new to meet them. The kids were so excited for him to come and they were able to do some fun things while he was here.

My sweet grandpa drove up from Utah for a quick weekend at the same time. 

Backyard kiddie pool, the hose, and sprinklers are always a hit in the summer.  Too bad we've been having some very windy days lately.

Steve's parents are also planning on coming to the blessing and spending some time here in August.  They weren't planning on coming sooner but they had a funeral to go to in Utah and flew out for a quick weekend.  They couldn't stand being that close and not coming to meet the babies, so they drove up the weekend of the 4th to be here less than 36 hours.  They were troopers and so exhausted but we were so glad they got to meet Riley and Maddie.  We even got to have a bbq and do fireworks at home with them here!  And Preston and Abby got to have a sleepover at their hotel Saturday night and go swimming in the pool.  So fun.  Can't wait until they can come back in August!

 4th of July!!  We were exhausted from doing our own fireworks late, but we all woke up early and braved the parade.  We had fun and glad we did it!  We actually had a really quiet rest of the day just at home taking naps and going to bed early!
