We had a pretty crazy summer around here! And while the focus was definitely on the babies, we tried really hard to make sure we still did lots of fun things for the other kids to have a great summer. We did lots of playing at home, water play in the backyard, exploring for Steve and Preston and Abby, story times at the library, the summer reading program, picnics, parks, baseball for Preston, tumbling for Abby, trips to the movies, splash parks, cotten candy, and a few fun projects. The summer went by WAY too fast since the babies took a whole chunk of it (obviously that is a great reason!) but summer is my favorite season here and I don't feel like I got to enjoy it as much as I usually do. There is already a hint of cooler weather and leaves turning yellow and I am just not ready yet!!

| My explorers checking out Mud Lake! |

| Love this cute pic of these two! |
 |
| Washing the car turned into this! They played like this for an hour and a half and it was totally worth the half a bottle of dish soap they used! So much fun! |
 |
| The kids got free tickets to a Chuckar's game and they were so excited ! |
 |
| Hidden Park by the river (at least that's what we call it because we didn't even know it existed for a long time.) |

| Abby in the pink shorts. She took a little tumbling class for 6 weeks this summer and absolutely loved it! She has always been really flexible but she progressed really quickly and is now doing cartwheels all over the house! We were originally going to have her take a dance class this fall but she loved tumbling so much and did so well that we have decided to have her take gymnastics instead. She is so excited to start next week! |

| Abby lost two teeth in August (this was a pic after the first!). She definitely looks like a kindergartner now! |
