I am doing some much needed catch up on here... let's start with our July birthdays! My birthday was on July 11th. It was a pretty quiet day, I did manage to get out of the house to go get a pedicure which was nice. And we ALL went out to dinner to Noodles & Company. I had a few gifts and cupcakes at home after. Here's hoping 31 is a great year!
Kaley's birthday was on July 15th and she turned 2!! So exciting! She didn't quite understand the whole birthday thing yet but she still had a fun day opening presents. Preston and Abby were kind tired and not feeling well that day so we just took it easy at home. We love our Kaley so much. She has come SO far from the very grumpy baby her whole first year. She is so smiley and just so dang cute. She is starting to talk more and more which is so fun. Just this summer she has learned to say her name, Preston's name, and I Love You, along with a lot more words. She likes to sing and dance and loves "Let it Go" from Frozen. She loves Preston and Abby so much and always tries to keep up with them. She is still our little girl weighing only 21.6 pounds at her 2 year appointment. She is starting to get quite opinionated and will throw some pretty funny tantrums but that is what being 2 is all about! She loves to get dressed every day and demands to have a bow in her hair to match. She loves her baby sisters. She gives them kisses and will always bring us the pacifiers, blankets and burp cloths. She has had zero jealousy or anger about these babies in our home which has been such a blessing. She loves to go to nursery on Sunday and does great. Kaley really does bring so much joy and cuteness into our home and I just can't get enough of her right now!
