Friday: We got there and grabbed some yummy Mexican food before heading to there house to hang out and laugh! Of course I got hungry again and we ended up at IHOP at 1am that night. Woohoo for late night breakfast!
Saturday: After sleeping in just a little bit from our late night, we went to the Las Vegas temple. Steve and I had never been so we were excited to finally go. It's a beautiful temple for sure and always a great way to spend our time. After considering many different options of things to do, we ended up at the movies. With some help of Aranne's dad who's a manager at one of the local theaters, we were able to catch a double feature of The Dark Knight and the Mummy, just 15 minutes after one another. It was a good time especially with our giant tub of popcorn and huge sodas to get through both of them.
On the way home, we got a little nervous as Dan was pulled over by a motorcycle cop. The cop asked where we were coming from, where we were going and if Dan had anything to drink that night. The cop said Dan was going over the yellow line and he was looking for DUI's over the holiday weekend. Thankfully Dan answered the questions correctly and didn't appear to be under the influence! We thought it was so funny that the car full of Mormons and a pregnant chick was suspected. Dan topped it all off by telling the cop that if anything he had had too much Coke that night! We knew what he had meant and thought it was funny, but the cop didn't laugh before he turned and walked away. You should never mention coke to a cop!
Sunday: We had a very relaxing day of going to church, hanging out, and playing games.
Monday: Steve was able to celebrate Labor Day by helping Dan and Aranne move some furniture out of their house to a friend's. He was a good sport and a big help. I on the other hand spent some time with Aranne's mom as I'm learning to do a little bit of medical transcription to help her out and be able to earn a little bit of money while I'm at home with Preston. We grabbed some lunch afterwards and ended up going to Lake Mead. We were able to see where Dan and Aranne usually take their jet skis (unfortunately, the pregnant lady can't do that right now, so we'll have to wait for next time). We put our feet in the water and then fed the giant, gross fish at the dock. After some burgers (and a hot dog) at Johnny Rockets, we were off to the airport and on our way home.
After our lunch, we stopped by Best Buy to check out the Nintendo Wii. I know a couple of boys (aka Steve and Dan) that were ready to make a purchase, but the wives were able to keep their wallets in their pockets. We all had fun trying it out though!
There were so many huge fish that they tried to swim on top of each other to get to the food!
The weekend went by way too fast, as they always do, but we really did have such a great time! This was our last weekend with them before the baby so we were glad to fit in as much fun as possible. Thanks Dan and Aranne!

My favorite temple by far! I'm glad you were able to go. And those fish at lake mead...gross! They have ALWAYS been like that. Makes me shudder, especially looking at that picture.

Again thanks for coming. We had a blast. Crazy to think that next time we see you guys you will be a family of THREE!
