Saturday we were looking for something different to do so we headed down to Tombstone for a little bit of the wild west. Steve and I have never been and my parents went over 20 years ago. It was fun to see all of the old sites and buildings, fun shops and restaurants, and learn about the history of Tombstone. We had lunch at the this great little restaurant, Longhorn Cafe, where we later learned that it used to be called Bucket of Blood Saloon. Way cooler name!
We went to Boothill Graveyard where the historical figures of the town are all buried with lots of others. We got to learn how most of them died, and we learned that you basically can't do anything in the old west without getting killed or dying by accident because of wagons or mines. I think we all came away grateful we didn't have to live there in those times.

Steve decided that he needed to own a cowboy hat if he was going to be a real cowboy. I finally let him get one when he found one for only $6. He found "Doc Holliday" to take a picture with!
We had tons of fun in Tombstone! Afterwards we made a trip to Joann's Fabric Store to pick out fabric for curtains for the nursery, that my mom has so nicely offered to make for us. I think we found some great fabric and am really excited about them! We ended the night with some yummy pizza and watching a great, cheesy movie. It's always great when we can spend time with family and we really had a great weekend! Thanks for the wonderful visit Mom & Dad!
