Polar Express!

For those of you who didn't know, we are big fans of the Polar Express (especially Steve!), considering we went twice before we even had kids! We were bummed we didn't get the chance to take Preston in AZ but we were hopeful and excited to find one here to go on. Well, there's not one here, our choices were Boise or Heber, UT (just outside of Park City). We chose Utah this year and a had a great little trip to visit my aunt and uncle Rees and Lisa and their kids Rachel and Garrett.

Preston was super excited to go to "Garrett's House." We hung out Tuesday night and Steve even got enlisted to go home teaching with Rees (you get double blessings for doing it twice, right?!). Lisa and Garrett got to come on the train ride with us and we had a great time. Preston was so tired from all the other fun and activities that he totally crashed on the train at 6 o'clock. We thought it was kind of funny that we were so excited for him to go on the train and he falls asleep, even through Santa coming! Oh well, we had to laugh and we still had a good time. Of course our camera died while we were on the train. Lisa took some pics for us, so I'll have to get them from her.

It was a great little visit and we were so glad we got a chance to hang out with the Petersen family and that they let us crash at their house even though it was in the middle of the week and they were so busy.

The first night Preston fell asleep like this at like 9. He never does that! He had woken up early that day and was so excited that he didn't sleep in the car at all.

Preston was obsessed with Garrett's train and was under strict instructions not to touch.
