'Tis the Season...

We spent last weekend putting up Christmas. So much fun! I love that Preston is getting old enough to get into the spirit of things. He understands a little bit more of what's going on and it's been a lot of fun to watch him.

Almost all of the ornaments that Preston put on ended up in the same spot on the tree. Pretty cute though!
Since Abby is on the move we had to block the tree off.
Love my four stockings! It was fun to pull out Abby's and know that I made it before we even had her.
Can you spot the "new" ornament?? Yeah, that would be one of Preston's socks on the tree. I'll give you two guesses how it ended up there!
Lights on the house! We ditched the icicle lights we've always had, partially because some of them had frozen and broken off last year, and the other reason is because we figure we have enough white and real life icicles, we can go with the colored ones this year!

Loving this time of year! So festive and fun! We're especially loving the differences in the weather from last year to this year. Last year at this point we were buried in snow and had day after day of grey and snow fall. Right now we have a little bit of snow on the ground but can still see big patches of grass and we've been enjoying day after day of sunshine! Yes, it still very cold (lows in the single digits) but the sunshine and lack of snow is making a huge difference! I know it might not last that much longer, but we'll take all the sunshine we can get!
