My parents came for a visit and to be here for the 4th of July and we were all so excited for them to come!! Preston and Abby had written out lists of what we should do while they were here and we did everything on their lists and way more! We really packed in the fun this visit which was very different than their last visit here which was last summer when Kaley was born so we didn't do a whole lot. Our list: lots of playing at home, Preston and Abby getting a new toy, a big adventure to the Teton mountains (a separate post for that!), Grandpa and the kids to the movies, Steve and Grandpa movie, picnic in the park, Museum of Idaho Pirates exhibit, "hidden" park down by the river, and celebrating the 4th of July! We really had so much fun with them here and were so so sad when they had to leave this morning (made especially worse since they were exhausted and then had to go right to church, the kids had the saddest faces walking in there!).
Our lives have felt in limbo for so long and we didn't know if we'd still be living here at this point so it was nice to have my parents come visit us in this house again, maybe for the last time. Even though we didn't go anywhere, it felt like we were on vacation with all of the fun we had and now we feel like we have the vacation blues of getting back to reality!
