Last summer my dad really wanted to visit the Teton mountains but the weather was awful so we knew that it had to be on the list this summer. We crammed the kids all on the back seat so we could all fit in the van, which was an adventure, and made the almost 2 hour drive to Grand Teton National Park. I don't even know how many times I said the word pretty, but it was a lot!! The mountains and scenery were absolutely gorgeous! We did a lot of driving with stops to check things out.
One of the highlights was Jenny Lake where we took a 15 minute boat ride across the lake, the kids loved the boat. On the other side we had to walk a half mile to Hidden Falls. It was a tough hike for our group but gorgeous once we got there. We had a pretty picnic lunch before checking our String Lake where we let the kids go crazy and get all wet in the water. We drove some more before checking out the dam and finally Colter Bay. We made our way home and had dinner in Jackson Hole before making the rest of the drive home. We were all worn out! Poor Kaley had barely slept and was so overtired that she cried for almost an hour on the way home. But we all had a great day!

My extra 20 pounds made the hike a little tough for me and poor girl fell asleep the last 2 minutes before getting to the waterfall.

Seriously these two love their Grandma!

This is why we always bring extra clothes!
