It was fun to have my parents up here for the 4th of July again which is starting to feel like a tradition. The night before we decided to do our own fireworks in our cul-de-sac. We managed to get some great ones and had a great show. And of course you have to do poppers and sparklers.
The morning of the 4th we headed out bright and early to go to the Idaho Falls 4th of July Parade. We always sit in the same area by a really nice church who always hands out free popcorn and cookies and does face painting for free too. It makes the waiting for the parade much nicer. In the spot right next to us we had a giant ant hill so we had to keep telling people who wanted to sit there that that was probably not a good idea! It made for less craziness by us which was great!

| A real life Lightning McQueen. After having a boy who was obsessed with all things Cars for years, we all got pretty excited to see this! |

| Real life... there is always someone who is just not feeling it! |
