We had a really fun weekend this weekend because my parents came into town to hang out with us for a couple of nights. We had planned to visit them last weekend but plans got changed with the funeral and all that, so they accepted our invitation to come stay with us. We love that about our house, that we can have guests over and not feel like we are all on top of each other.
They came down Friday afternoon and we were able to go out to dinner and just chit chat the rest of the night. Saturday the girls got to go do some shopping for maternity clothes which was super fun while the boys in trying to find a manly activity ended up going to Home Depot to look at power tools. I think that definitely counts as manly! We grabbed some lunch and caught a showing of "Get Smart" which we all really enjoyed and spent the rest of the day lounging around.
It was so much fun to see them and do some things together. Thanks guys for a great visit!!

shopping is always fun with help. most of my 'maternity clothes' were really just loose styles from the juniors section- lots of babydoll tees and such, or low rise jeans. But dresses and skirts were mostly actual maternity.
