Wonderful AZ!!

(side note: this is my 300th post, crazy!!)

Preston and I just got back from a week in sunny AZ with my parents. Steve had bought plane tickets us for a weekend trip for Christmas. My parents wanted to hog me for a little longer so they paid for us to change our flights to be there for a week. Preston was very excited to see his "Bama" and "Papa" in "O-zona."

Two words for how the week made us feel: WORN OUT!! But in the very best way possible!!! We wanted to take full advantage of this time with my parents and the sunshine and warmth, and we did! The fun we had... played in the backyard, went shopping, went to 3 different parks, watched movies, sat in the sunshine, went to the mall, ran some errands, had yummy Olive Garden, enjoyed spending time with my grandparents, ate doughnuts at Dunkin Donuts, went to the Phoenix Children's Museum, saw Nate and Katie, played at Peter Piper Pizza, had frozen yogurt with my best friend from elementary/high school, had lunch with my mom at her school, and just played and played! It was a busy week and even though Preston had a really bad cough the first half of the trip and missed most of his naps, he did really great for the most part and never slowed down.

I have lots and lots of pictures from all of our fun, but I'm not going to try to put them in order.

This is when we first got there. He was just a little excited, he didn't know what to do with himself!

Fun with Grandma and Grandpa!

Fun with bubbles!

Playing with play-dough at the children's museum.

At every park, his favorite slide is always the biggest one that spirals.

He's been sitting like this a lot lately, I love it!
One of his favorite things at the museum was the cars section where he got to race cars over and over again. I love his focused face!

Preston did really great on the flights. We had to break out my stash of M&M's on the flight back because he was so tired from waking up early and our busy week, but that's ok. He fell asleep the last half hour of the flight, which is so crazy for Preston. Tells you how worn out he was! Oh, do you like the sticker on his face?? He put it on and I just left it there.

So fun being back home where it's warm but nice going home to the privacy and independent life of your own little family. Living out of state is being in two worlds sometimes. Looks like a fun trip with quality family time. P is getting so big. He needs to knock that off. Can't wait for Abbey to make her debut soon. It's creeping up!
