Abby Birthday, Part 2!

After the monster trucks we just stayed at Steve's parents' house.  Unfortunately, Abby decided to wake up and hang out with everyone at 11:30 that night.  We of course all stayed up way too late chatting and then Abby just didn't want to go to sleep.  She finally had to cry it out for 15 minutes until 2:30am and then was awake at 7am.  Needless to say we were all exhausted!  We made it through 9am church somehow and had a birthday lunch of chicken enchiladas, Steve's favorite.  Steve and Abby opened a few presents and then we sang happy birthday.  By this point Abby wasn't feeling good.  She had a little runny nose in the morning and by the afternoon she was full blown miserable and sick.  We weren't sure if we should let her eat her cupcake because of it so we held it up to her to see if she'd go for it... she's my daughter and loves sugar because she lunged for it!  She devoured it and we had a fun time watching her.  We left just before 6 and the kids and I slept the whole way home.  We managed to still get both kids in bed at 8:30pm even with that late, random nap.  Preston didn't wake up until 9:30am Monday morning, which NEVER happens.  We really were worn out, but we had fun!  ...I think our camera was dusty from monster trucks so these pics all look a little hazy.

After we put Abby in her chair with her cupcake, she went pie eating contest on it and stuck her face in it, twice!  Pretty hilarious!

 She may have been sick but a yummy cupcake (and some motrin right after) made her feel a little better.
