Halloween Fun!

We had lots of Halloween fun this year.  Costumes... Preston: Finn (from Force Awakens), Abby: Rey (also from Force Awakens), Kaley: Candy Corn, Riley & Maddie: Ice Cream Sundaes.  Preston already had his costume we got on clearance months ago, Kaley's was Abby's a couple years ago, so I made Abby's which turned out great and then I whipped up the babies which were very simple.  The kids were all so excited.

We had taken the babies to their 4 month well check that day and they got a bunch of shots.  They were both very unhappy so Steve had a baby, my mom had a baby and I did all of the pumpkin carving.

After my mom left we went to Boo at the Zoo on Saturday, Oct. 29th.  We have gone 3 or 4 years in a row and this was by far the busiest which made it a little crazy and hectic.  The decorations, lights and trick or treating are great plus we got to see some animals too.  We are thinking it was so busy because Friday night was pouring so I'm sure the people planning to go that night came on Saturday.  It was great weather which helped too.

Had to get a pick of the hair.  I thought it turned out great especially considering Abby has SO much hair!

Our caravan... we feel pretty ridiculous most of the time, especially with two strollers. 

Monday, on Halloween, Preston and Abby got to wear their costumes to school and both had parties in their classes which was fun.  We had our ward trunk or treat that night (just the trick or treating part).  It was COLD and windy so we were glad that was short.  When we got home the babies were sad and hungry so I stayed home to feed them while Steve and the other three kids bundled up and went trick or treating.  Kaley got in on it and wanted to go to each door which slowed them down so they only did two small streets before it got dark.  Thankfully that was enough for them and they were home about 7pm.  It was a great Halloween!

This was actually Sunday night... ghost pancakes, spooky sausage, and jack-o-lantern juice.  On Monday we had our traditional jack-o-lantern pizza from Papa Murphy's.
