Way too much fun...

Yup, it's that time again... trip to Arizona.  This time we flew and Steve got to come for part of it.  The kids and I flew out Thursday evening and they are getting pretty good at this flying business and don't cause too much trouble on the flight.  This trip was the last time Abby could be a lap child because once she's turns 2 (this week!!) she'll have to have her own seat, plus that extra cost, yikes!  That was one of the reasons we went at the beginning of April instead of the end.  We got there pretty late so the kids fell asleep on the way to my parents' and pretty much went straight to bed.

Friday my mom took the day off of work (she's retiring at the end of this school year, so she's more than willing to use some of her days off to hang out with us!).  We headed to Arizona Mills mall to go to the Sea Life Aquarium.  We've heard really good things about it so we were excited to go.  It was really cool and I think my mom and I learned more than the kids did!  We were able to get some lunch in the mall, walk around, and go on the carousel before going through the aquarium one more time.  Such a fun time.

We had fun shopping, hanging out, watching general conference, letting the kids play in the water and the dirt, visiting with Nate, Katie, and Juliet, and just having fun together. (one exception was that Abby remembered she could climb out of the pack n' play which made for very frustrating nap times where Abby would climb out over and over and over again even though she was exhausted.  I had to resort to driving in the car with her for a few minutes to get her to sleep before moving her to her bed.  The downside to having her so well trained to sleeping in her own crib by herself.)

My parents found this little bike being thrown away.  The only thing that was wrong with it was a flat tire.  My dad fixed it fast and Preston loved it!
