We had such a great Easter weekend. We've made a decision in our family to do all of the fun Easter bunny festivities on Saturday and keep the more religious aspect of Easter to Sunday. Unfortunately Steve had to work for part of Saturday but meanwhile the kids and I ventured to 2 community Easter egg hunts. We've never been to one of these and have heard about over crowding but we made sure to be early. They weren't great for the amount of eggs or candy we got (about 6-8 at each egg hunt) but I stressed to Preston that we were just there to have fun and enjoy the beautiful day. It really was a gorgeous day so we got to play outside a lot and soak up some sunshine.

| Preston insisted on wearing his firefighter hat to the egg hunt which was good luck before there were firefighters, 3 fire trucks, and Sparky the fire dog. |
| Abby got 2 eggs! |
| Abby going down a crazy tall slide. It kind of freaked me out, but she has no fear and loved it. |
| Apparently it was either too bright or Preston was just having fun closing his eyes. Thanks buddy! |
After Steve got home, he took the kids for a little walk and while they were gone the Easter bunny made a visit to our house. Preston was SO excited!! He kept running around yelling that the Easter bunny had come. They both had fun finding the eggs the bunny had left.
| Preston had forgotten to make his bed (one of his little chores) and the Easter bunny did it for him. Preston was so shocked that the bunny would do that for him. He kept saying that it was so nice of the Easter bunny to do that and that we need to say thank you to him. |
After that we headed to dinner at Red Robin (Steve randomly received a gift card at work). That is a good place for our family because it's loud and there is usually a lot of kids. ...Oh, and funny story: they sat a couple at the table right next to us. Immediately we could hear them talking about how they didn't like the table and wanted to move and when their server finally came they asked to be moved. The tables were pretty squished but I'm pretty sure it was our two kids that drove them away! We are
that family! Even with that, our kids were exceptionally well behaved (for them!).It was a great end to an awesome, fun day.
