Abby Dance Class!

Our Abby Jean is finally starting dance class!  When she turned 3 in April we had looked around for a possible dance class to sign her up to but found that a lot of the studios around here do sessions that follow the school year so it was too late to get her started.  Thankfully we found her a summer class to put her in and she was so excited!  It's for 3 year olds and is a jazz, ballet, tap combo class.  It will be great to give it a try to see how she likes it before committing to the whole school year.  We got her a little leotard and skirt and ballet shoes and she was so excited to go to her first "dancing class".

She was a little nervous about it and kind of just stood there for the first half of it but then she warmed up a little and started to participate some.  I'm glad that there were no tears and she didn't need me by her side.  I felt it was pretty successful for it being the first time she's ever done something like this on her own.  Hopefully she'll continue to love it and have fun!
