An Adventure of a Day...

Today was supposed to be a very simple day of just going to the temple and that's about it, but it turned out much differently. We knew that the temple would be closing early because of the Easter Pagaent, but we planned for that. However, after leaving a little later than planned and stopping off to get gas and a bite to eat, we were cutting it close to make it by the last session. After hitting some major construction right outside of Phoenix, our plans were very much changed. (we actually didn't even make it to the constuction, because we finally turned around after 45 minutes of stop 'n go traffic). We were definitely sick of being in the car, so we stopped in Casa Grande and decided to see "Horton Hears A Who." It was a super cute movie that we both really liked. We than ended up going to the Super Walmart in north Tucson to get a microwave, and than we finally ended up home. We were definitely sad that we didn't get a chance to go to the temple and it was a really long day, but we were still able to have some fun along the way!

(no pictures of our adventures, because we weren't planning on any adventures...I should always carry our camera!)

Maybe it's a good thing Brad and I decided not to go see the Easter Pageant tonight. We both wouldn't have been too happy if we drove all the way there to end up turning around and coming back home. Atleast you two turned it into something fun. That movie looks cute. Maybe I'll take Hallie to see it sometime.
