Yet Another D-Backs Game!

We had a pretty fun and relaxing weekend again. We drove up to Phoenix Friday night and stayed the night at my parents house and had a busy day planned for Saturday. We already had tickets to the D-Backs game that night and the plan was to go to the temple beforehand. We woke up with plenty of time and were able to sit around a chat with my mom and my dad which was nice, but when it came time to get ready to go to the temple I was exhausted (as I often am lately) and we weren't sure if I was going to make it through the day's activities. We opted to hang out for a while longer at my parents' house while I took a big nap. It felt great!

We went to the D-Backs game and were very surprised to find that it was the second sold out game of the season. We weren't expecting that because we were just playing the Detroit Tigers, not a huge team like the Cubs or Red Sox. It was great to see the park so full and to hear all the fans, but it sure made the place busier than we're used to. It was a slow game that picked up towards the end, but unfortunately we lost. We were very sad but we were still glad that we could be there to support, plus there's always our next game which is in June!
