Yesterday we celebrated the 4th of July pretty quietly. We both had the day off work which was super nice. We were able to sleep in, have some fried chicken, make cupcakes, see a movie, and simply just hang out and relax. Not the most exciting 4th of July we've ever had, but it was still a nice one, and certainly great to spend so much quality time together!
Steve made sure to hang up our flag on our house. We are so happy for the freedoms we have because we live in this country and it was good to remember those who are serving our country to protect those rights and freedoms, like Steve's brother Daniel who is currently serving in Iraq. We hope that everyone was able to have a great holiday!
