Day 3, Salt Lake...

Day number 3 we headed to Salt Lake City (actually Bountiful) to stay the night with my grandparents. Have you noticed how much we broke this trip up?? Definitely a good plan with Preston since sitting still in his car seat has never been his favorite thing and it was great to see so much family on the way. This was the leg of the trip I worried about the most since it was the longest at like 7-8 hours. It actually went great. We made really good time and Preston did an ok job. It definitely felt good to get the major driving done and out of the way.

At my grandparents' house Preston was able to play in their backyard and had a blast. They have one of those backyards that's awesome, with a deck, stairs, swings, hills, grass, and big trees. Perfect for the little man. That night my aunt and uncle, Lisa and Rees and their two kids Rachel and Garrett and my aunt Heather, who live in the Salt Lake area came over say hi and chat for awhile. Fun to see them and hopefully it will happen more often now that we're a little closer than we were before.
